  • How do I know if my sunglasses are polarized?

    • Simply look through the glasses at the reflection of an object on a window panel. Then, turn the sunglasses around as if they were the hands of a clock facing you. If the intensity of the reflection doesn't change with respect to what you see through the window, they are not polarized.
  • How are polarized sunglasses better than normal sunglasses?

    • Normal sunglasses decrease the intensity of everything by the same amount. Riviera Shades premium polarized sunglasses filter the waves of light by absorbing some of the reflected glare while allowing other light waves to pass through them. Polarized sunglasses, which are designed to filter horizontal light, are mounted vertically in the frame and must be carefully aligned so that they will properly filter the light-waves.
  • How are Polarized Sunglasses made?

    • Riviera Shades’ premium polarized lenses are manufactured using an injection molding process that ensures that the visual acuity is of paramount importance. This dynamic process pairs our premium multi-layered Polarized lens with an optimum design that obtains a degree of polarization of 99%, both experimentally and theoretically. Like infinitesimal mini-blinds, our premium polarization effectively cuts down glare by filtering the waves of light reflecting off flat surfaces resulting in a bright and crisp view without the harmful rays of the sun.
  • Are the sunglasses UV protected?

    • Every Riviera Shades sunglass is UV 400 protected, which blocks all light rays with wavelengths up to 400 nanometers.
  • What lens coating do we have on our sunglasses?

    • Our premium polarized lenses are intelligently engineered to incorporate the most advanced and latest lens technology. Each lens is skillfully crafted with multiple layers of Anti-Reflective (A/R), Anti-scratch, and Hydro-Oleophobic coatings to provide enriched color contrast and enhanced visual experience in all environments. Riviera Shades’ lenses are ultra-lightweight and shatter resistant, providing high impact protection.
  • Is there a warranty on my sunglasses?

    • Riviera Shades sunglasses come with a Limited Craftsmanship Warranty that is valid against any factory defects in workmanship and materials from the original purchase date. Shipping information

  • How long does it take for my tracking information to be updated?

    • It can take up to 48 hours for the tracking information to update once you have received the automated tracking email. If there is no status or change on the tracking after 48 hours, please contact us via email at customersupport@rivierashades.com, and we will gladly give you an update or determine the status of your package.
  • When will my order ship?

    • It takes up to 24 hours to process your order after your payment is authorized and verified. The order processing time might get affected by weekends and holidays. Purchases made and confirmed after 9 am PST will not be shipped out until the next business day. If you order after 9 am PST on a Friday, your order will likely be shipped out on the following Monday. After your order confirmation, please allow 24-48 hours for your order tracking details to update.
  • International shipping information

    • All shipment packages include tracking, and we will send the tracking number to you via email the night your order is shipped. We are not liable for packages that show that they have been delivered but have not been received. DUTIES/TAXES/TARIFFS - SOME COUNTRIES MAY HAVE EXTRA FEES FOR IMPORTED GOODS, WE HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THIS, AND ALL FEES WILL BE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. Order information and concerns

  • Can I change or cancel my order once it has been placed?

    • If you want to change your order, please contact us immediately at customersupport@indusriviera.com. If your package has been processed and shipped from our warehouse to your location, then your order can not be canceled.
  • Why was my order canceled?

    • If your order was canceled unexpectedly, the chances are that our system’s fraud filter marked it as a fraudulent order. If you are sure that this is not true, then please order your item again with a Paypal account.

  • Do you offer prescription glass?

    • No, we do not offer prescription glasses at the moment, but our sunglass frames are capable of being fitted for prescription lenses. Your optometrist should be able to assist you further in that regards.
